I am trying to locate additional information about Adena C.E. Minot. Do you have any information about her husband, "Hinds?" When and where did she pass away? Have you found her obituary anywhere?

I lived in Jamaica between February 1959 and June 1970. Unfortunately my mother passed away in May 1959 I am trying to find out if her burial was held at St Matthews. Lilla Josephine Rhodd.

Good historical account of St. Matthews. I did a research and exhibition of the church in 1999. It was to celebrate St. Matthews Day Sept 21. There are photos of the old church. You may need to go to the Church and speak with Father Williams or Hilda Vaughan. There should be two sets of photos. One was the wooden building the first church that was demolished and the other was concrete which formed the basis of the current church before its expansion.
