Adena Clotilda Eugenie Minott

'Madame Minott is rather below the medium height, and has an independent walk, reminding one of the women of America. There is perhaps, a rather stern expression of countenance; a businesslike air, which however, quite disappears when she begins to speak, a high forehead, and rather firmly closed lips behind which at times you see white teeth prettily flashingwith gold.'
